Really need this!

Really need this!

“It’s down to Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and Ike [Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Entertainment] and Disney to come to us with what the proposal is, and that’s on us to agree or disagree,” Downey said. “When things are going great, there’s a lot of agreement.” …

Until his bosses decide he’s too rich for their blood, Downey says he’s happy to hold on to the iron mask. “It’s that thing of: why give up the belt when it feels like you can barely get jabbed?” he says — then adds a caveat. “Most people are saying that right when they get knocked out.”

He shrugs, and until Marvel says otherwise, Downey leaves us with points of ellipses and a grin: “The future is, as usual, uncertain.”

Robert Downey Jr. on Iron Man 4: “Why give up the belt?” | Entertainment Weekly

"When EW visited the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron, we asked Downey point-blank: Does he want to star in an Iron Man 4?

His answer wasn’t so point-blank. In fact, he starts to sound a little like a Magic 8-Ball as he tries to keep it vague. But the answer we gleaned was: Signs point to yes.”

Got it. Okay.

Why is no one talking about this? I’m getting excited!

This morning the first wave of the 2014 Toronto Film Festival lineup was announced and so far it’s an impressive list of films including films from Noah Baumbach,Mike LeighDavid Gordon GreenJason ReitmanBennett MillerDavid CronenbergAntoine FuquaEdward ZwickMikael RoskamDavid Dobkin and many others.

One surprising detail is there was no announcement of an opening film so along with everything below there is still at least one biggie on the way…

Probably the films announced so far that I’m most excited about begin with Roskam’s The Drop, Baumbach’s While We’re Young starring Naomi Watts and Amanda Seyfried,The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch and The Theory of Everythingstarring Eddie Redmayne.

Then you get into Edward Zwick's Pawn Sacrifice (a nice surprise), Dobkin’s The Judge with Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall, Gordon Green’s Manglehorn starring Al PacinoLiv Ullman's Miss Julie starring Jessica Chastain
